Zaidi’s interview with Arun Gavali in Harsool jail is quite interesting to read. This narration of the Mumbai underworld which Zaidi began in Dongri to Dubai is well climaxed in this latest book.

It’s a first hand experience and the one which cannot be ignored. You feel like you are reading a timeline based on Criminals tp a very Newspaper kinda format.

This book is not yet featured on Listopia. The book starts of with a racy encounter ending in the death of a dreaded mafia guy.


Umesh Bhosale rated it really liked it Sep 09, I guess there was no need for a picture of bal thackrey or a pandal picture rather pictures of main accused, dons should have been printed, which could have helped the interested readers to connect more with the gangmen.

Zaidi introduces around a million characters which are clearly divided into 2 sides: Hussain Zaidi is an Indian author and former investigative journalist. It is wonderful commentary on that period too. Also a person who has not read the prequel will find it difficult keeping up with all the information in this book. Many committed suicide, some just melted into the background, some retreated to their native villages — while others ended up hawking vegetables beneath the very structures that gave them their bread and butter.

Want to Read saving…. Bagnkok places it starts and ends abruptly and sometimes it becomes I am giving it four stars because this can stand on its own footing as a great book to read.

Some of the pics in the book are actually useless in the extreme. Every skirmish and encounter is narreted in such a way that author was present there.
