Released init combines the ruggedness and success of the work-horse EJA-A series with the performance of the thoroughbred EJX-A series to deliver the type of product you have come to expect from Yokogawa.

At it’s heart, Yokogawa’s Differential Pressure Transmitter with DPharp ej1a10e sensor offers the performance and device intelligence needed to get greater insight into your process. Yokogawa’s DPharp digital sensor offers twice the performance and stability of the competitor’s analog sensors. Analog sensors are based on older design technology. Although analog sensors are good, the modern DPharp sensor out performs them. A Yokogawa transmitter with DPharp digital sensor will give you the consistentreliableaccurate measurement you need.

Yokogawa’s DPharp sensor has the ability to measure the differential pressure DPstatic pressure SPand sensor temperature from a single sensor. Giving these three pieces of process data, Yokogawa’s transmitter can compensate the DP measurement yokogqwa Temperature Effect and Static Pressure Effect in real time. Competitor’s analog sensors can only measure DP and Sensor temperature. So, theirs can compensate for temperature Effect; but, since the SP measurement is missing, it cannot compensate for Static Pressure Effects.

Digital DPharp sensor provides stable measurement in all operation conditions. To some degree, all pressure sensors on the market provide stable measurement with variations in temperature and static pressure. Or a process upset? Analog sensors are actually damaged during these events requiring the transmitter to be recalibrated to return to accurate operation or even replaced.

Yokogawa’s transmitters can withstand large overpressure events. Basically, yologawa Yokogawa DPharp sensor has a larger operational envelope compared to an analog sensor. With our competitor’s transmitters using analog sensors, any application that requires measurement of both differential pressure DP and static pressure SP requires two separate transmitters – one to measure the DP and one to measure the SP.

Yokogawa’s differential pressure transmitter with multi-sensing Jokogawa sensor, can measure both process variables DP and Yokoawa with a single transmitter. Two transmitters will always cost more than one transmitter. Signal characterization is a versatile function available on all Yokogawa pressure transmitters. The function is used to compensate the analog 4 to 20 mA output signal for non-linear applications. Eha110e applications include tank strapping or flow measurements; but, it can be used in any application where the relationship between the pressure input and the desired output signal are known.

This feature can use up to points. All of eja101e process variable’s measured by Yokogawa’s transmitter can be displayed on the easy to sja110e local indicator. Ejq110e indicator can display any eja110s the variables measured DP, SP, Capsule temperature ; alarm codes with short text; yokoawa a sweeping bar graph to give a graphical representation of the process. Fully programmable, the indicator is customizable for your needs. Unlike competitor’s transmitters, the indicator is not driven off the 4 to 20 mA analog signal, but, exist on a separate circuit.

This allow the display to operate independently from the output signal, so it can indicate information that maybe more useful at the transmitter location. Yokogawa’s transmitter has 40 self-diagnostic checks to ensure that everything is running smoothly within the transmitter.

But, all transmitters on the market have a level self-diagnostic checks. However, Yokogawa has two that are not offered by competitors. First, the transmitter features a patented Back-check Technology that reverse checks all calculations in real-time. Second, the DPharp sensor is an active sensor. This means that the sensor is constantly supplying a signal even when the process has not changed.

If the signal is lost from the sensor, the transmitter knows there is an issue. Competitor’s analog sensors are passive. They do not supply a continual signal, so, is the sensor still working when there is no signal? Predictive ejz110e line blocking and stream tracing diagnostics lets you see problems before they happen. Ruggedly constructed differential pressure transmitter can help your plant reduce failures.

Yokogawa pressure transmitters have construction features that are designed to allow it to outlive your plant. Yokogawa’s DPharp pressure sensor has over-pressure protection from the simple robust design of the sensor itself. But, Yokogawa yokogaea a step further and adds a mechanical system within the capsule to protect the transmitter from over pressure events.

These eja1110e could be caused by anything from unexpected process surges to improperly sequenced manifolds. The Yokogawa pressure transmitter series’ performance and reliability has been verified by independent third parties from around the world.

All Yokogawa pressure transmitters are designed and certified to IEC They are certified for single transmitter use in SIL 2 safety applications and dual transmitter use in SIL 3 safety applications with no special option required. With Yokogawa’s transmitters, no longer will you have to maintain two seperate inventories – one for production applications and one for safety applications. The DPharp sensor is an active sensor. They do not supply a continual signal, so is the sensor still working when there is no signal?

An active sensor is inherently safe. Yokogawa’s pressure transmitters as a patented real-time reverse check of the signal to ensure all calculations are preformed correctly.

This system ensures that the transmitter is converting the signal from the sensor into the analog signal and digital protocol correctly. Yokogawa’s DPharp pressure transmitters offer long-term stability and diagnostics to make your maintenance routine easy. Yokogawa’s pressure transmitters have a long-term stability under all operational conditions. As you gain experience with these transmitters, you will be able to extend the time between calibration checks.

Yokogawa offers eha110e platforms to communicate to your transmitter. When your transmitter is ‘alarming’, you do not have the time to look for the manuals and go through them trying to figure out what is wrong; you need to get the transmitter up and operating again as quick as possible. Yokogawa’s pressure transmitters have a simple description of the error code available on the local display. This simple description may help you correct the problem and get back to making product quickly.

If you need more help, the manual does have a full description of all codes and suggest corrective actions. Pressure transmitters on the market have several different flange configuration depending on the medium being measured Gas or liquid.

This requires plants that process both medium to maintain a stock of both types of configurations.

Yokogawa’s pressure transmitters offer a universal mount that can be configured to handle either Gas or Liquid; reducing your inventory of replacement transmitters. Yokogawa’s pressure transmitters use the industry standard IEC process connection deminsions. This ensures you will not need proprietary manifolds or accessories that limit your design choices. The IEC standard gives you the piece of mind that if you ever want to make a change in transmitter manufacturer, you can.

Some competitors have proprietary process connections that do nothing more than lock you into buying their product as replacements. Refer to the General Specification sheet located under the ‘Downloads’ tab for detailed specifications. Yokogawa manufactures a communicator for your needs. All out communicators are compatible with Yokogawa products as well as other products on the market.

It provides an accurate and efficient calibration and verification tool for any pressure transmitter or other type of field device. Differential pressure level measurement has an enemy- temperature.

Temperature can have a negative effect on the accuracy of level measurement. This article covers why temperature has this effect and how it can be reduced.

Every Yokogawa pressure transmitter is designed from the ground up with safety in mind. At the heart of this philosophy is the inherently safe DPharp sensor. All Yokogawa pressure transmitters come with safety certification as standard and at no extra cost. The Yokogawa family of pressure transmitters features a unique digital pressure sensor called DPharp to provide the most stable and accurate pressure measurement offered today.

Calibration frequency is determined by factoring the real-world performance of a device against the required measurement threshold. The response time of a transmitter is key to safe and accurate process control. By using open standards and enabling technologies, the multi-sensing and advanced diagnostic capabilities in DPharp intelligent devices can be effectively utilized. There are many types of pressure transmitter mounting configurations for new and replacement installations.

Using the DPharp universal mount flanges and universal mounting bracket, almost any installation can be achieved.

The unique design of the DPharp sensor allows for measuring differential pressure and static pressure at the same time. Yokogawa’s unique capsule design equalizes overpressure within the capsule before it can reach the measurement sensor. How much do you know about pressure transmitters?
